I’m leery of auto mechanics. I’m not a gear head and poorly versed in automotive repair knowledge. Prior experiences have made me skeptical of the necessity of repairs “required” and subsequently performed from a few prior mechanics. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had some really good mechanics too, but I have trepidation when I need to find one. In the search for a local Snohomish County mechanic for my 2014 X5 50i (52,000 miles) I decided to bring it to BroadStroke based on the reviews. I am beyond satisfied and happy with the work, professionalism, communication, and clarity their team has provided me. Additionally, my vehicle is operating and performing wonderfully. BroadStroke provided a very clear review of their diagnostics. Additionally I was provided photographic proof in the form of a pdf link to a detailed report of their findings. There was no pressure to perform any suggested service, and the approach was consultative. I did have some “required” services which were a bad oil leak and badly worn breaks, but they took the time to discuss pros and cons, and timelines (as in - if I don’t do the suggested service, how much longer until I should) of the other services. The communication of Anastasiya was exceptional and very professional and concise. I’m also grateful for the service loaner provided. My experience with BroadStroke was impressive and I would strongly recommend you give them an opportunity. I now trust them with my BMW and will return to do the other suggested fixes. I truly appreciate the honesty and clarity the communicated, and suspect that should you choose them, you will appreciate them also.
