As dedicated technicians that service only BMW and MINI we see multiples of the same series and model vehicles. Over the past several years we have averaged about 100 vehicles per month. An independent shop that is trying to service all German cars or all European cars may only have an opportunity to work on an E63 M6 or a MINI Cooper problem a few time per year (or less). The benefit to you is that because we work on these vehicles all the time we can quickly associate symptoms with the underlying problems. We know where to look and what to look for. We have the diagnostics and special tools required to quickly and accurately confirm the source of a problem. The benefit to you is that we don’t spend a lot of time (and your money) investigating possibilities. We just get the problem fixed and you and your vehicle on your way.

It is not a mystery that the dealerships never mention their charge rates for service labor. We think they intentionally don’t want to talk about it because it is more than a little difficult to justify. The Puget Sound Dealers with shop charges and disposal fees are currently very close to $200/hr.

At Broad Stroke they routinely provide our customers with superior service compared to the dealerships at about ½ the cost.
